Rob Milliken
THE ARTIST:
Rob Milliken was born 2nd October 1948 at Harwich, Essex, UK and was introduced to paintings and sculpture by his Dutch grandfather at a very early age. Leaving High School in 1965 and not finding fame and fortune as a musician or artist, he took on a number of 'proper' jobs.

Running parallel with fulltime occupations, he taught himself to paint in a variety of mediums. In 1991 he was introduced to egg tempera and now paints entirely in this medium.

In 1993 he took early retirement and decided to concentrate purely on art and poverty.
